Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology collaborates with Dr. John De Mallory (Australia) to support students and graduate students in research activities in Cao Bang Province

On October 20, 2025, the Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology (IBFT), Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, held a working session with Dr. John De Mallory, an expert from Australia, to discuss potential cooperation in education and research.

Accordingly, students and graduate students of the Institute will have the opportunity to participate in a study and research program in Cao Bang Province, associated with a project aimed at enhancing the value chain of local food products. Through this program, participants will not only gain practical experience in local production systems but also engage in applied research activities that contribute to sustainable socio-economic development.

The Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology affirmed its commitment to providing academic and technological support, particularly in food processing, preservation, and product development, thereby contributing to improving the value and competitiveness of local agro-food products.

The collaboration between the IBFT and Dr. John De Mallory is expected to create new opportunities for students and graduate students in learning and research, while simultaneously driving the sustainable development of Cao Bang’s indigenous food products with a vision toward modernization and international integration.
